Photo-to-part reconstruction

Broken part?
We’ll rebuild it.

Upload photos of a missing or damaged component, describe what it needs to do, and replIQ will recreate, optimize, and manufacture a replacement.

From photo to functional part

You provide the context. We handle measurement, reconstruction, material selection, and production.

01

Photograph the part

Upload several clear angles with a ruler, credit card, or our printable reference sheet.

02

Define its job

Tell us whether it carries weight, flexes, gets wet, heats up, or needs a specific finish.

03

We reconstruct it

Our workflow converts your images into an editable CAD model and checks the critical dimensions.

04

Print and deliver

We manufacture the approved design in the right material, inspect it, and prepare it for delivery.

More than a copy

Rebuilt around how the part is actually used.

A successful replacement is not just the right shape. It also needs the correct strength, flexibility, temperature resistance, finish, and fit.

  • Reverse engineering from reference photos
  • CAD reconstruction and print optimization
  • Heat, moisture, UV, and load assessment
  • Matte, glossy, textured, smooth, or rubber-like finishes
  • Exact-copy or reinforced redesign options

Final material recommendations are reviewed before production.

Start a request

Show us the part. Tell us what it needs to do.

The form takes about two minutes. No measurements or CAD experience required.

Step 1 of 4

Upload photos of the part

Add 4–8 clear angles. Include one reference object in at least one photo.

Reference object used *
Step 2 of 4

What does the part need to do?

Select everything that applies so we can recommend the correct design and material.

Primary function *
Environment
Step 3 of 4

Choose the look and feel

We will prioritize function first, then match your preferred finish where possible.

Preferred surface finish *
Initial material recommendation PETG

A durable general-purpose material suitable for many functional replacement parts.

Final selection is confirmed after our technical review.
Step 4 of 4

Where should we send the assessment?

We will review the request and follow up with questions, pricing, or a reconstruction plan.

What happens next?
  1. We inspect the images and requirements.
  2. We confirm feasibility, material, timing, and price.
  3. After approval, we reconstruct and manufacture the part.
Designed for real repairs

Small parts. Big difference.

Discontinued appliance clips

Recreate latches, wheels, spacers, brackets, and guides that manufacturers no longer stock.

Custom organizers

Build inserts, holders, mounts, and storage systems shaped around the objects you already own.

Furniture hardware

Replace caps, feet, connectors, handles, and trim components with made-to-fit versions.

Workshop components

Produce knobs, adapters, jigs, guards, and one-off tool accessories for practical use.

Designed for confidence

Human-reviewed before it reaches the printer.

Photo reconstruction can estimate geometry, but a functional part needs engineering judgment. Every paid production request should be checked for fit, clearances, layer direction, wall thickness, likely stresses, and material limitations.

Frequently asked

Questions before you upload?

Here are the essentials. More complex requests are reviewed individually.

Can you determine dimensions from one photo?

One photo is rarely enough for an accurate functional part. We request several angles and a known reference object to establish scale and understand the geometry.

What should I use as the reference object?

A ruler is best. A standard credit card or our printable calibration sheet can also work when photographed in the same plane as the part.

Can you improve the original design?

Yes. Where fit allows, we can reinforce weak tabs, increase wall thickness, add ribs, or change the material while preserving the required interfaces.

Can I choose matte, glossy, or rubber-like material?

Yes. You can state your preferred texture and finish. Function and safety come first, so we may recommend an alternative when the requested appearance conflicts with heat, strength, water, or flexibility requirements.

Do you make safety-critical parts?

Consumer desktop 3D printing is not automatically suitable for safety-critical, pressure-bearing, medical, electrical-certification, or high-load vehicle applications. These requests require separate engineering review and may be declined.

The missing part is no longer the end

Repair it. Replicate it. Replace it.
